1. Go to Ebay or similar sites and find a picture of the service tag and serial number of the number.
2. Go to Dell Support website and enter in the service tag. Then live chat or call them up.
3. They will troubleshoot, just say nothing works.
4. Now they will ask you for you to write down your name, service request number, and date and time on a piece of paper, and show it next to the monitor's service tag. This is where the picture from step 1 comes in handy.

What you do is you write down the request information on a piece of paper, and photoshop that onto the picture from Step 1.

5. Done! Now they will take 2 minutes to "verify" it and they will authorize the replacement.
