I personally encountered a Web3 Binance scam today. ♠️

👉GO THROUGH IT, AS IT MAY ASSIST YOU! 👈

MY ENTIRE STORY:

I was working on a Ramadan campaign.

where I would receive $ACE after completing certain tasks.
I should remind you that I have never used a web3 wallet.

I therefore had no idea what I was doing.

I had to convert USDC to $BNB during the campaign.

I had no idea that gas fees required BNB.

I visited Binance customer service, who

were really patient and kind in assisting me.

After I was successful in doing that,

then I had to swap USDC to $ACE ,

this is where things got ugly.

In order to finish the work, I clicked on the campaign.

which caused me to switch menus.

I owned USDC and ACE, however due to the most recent trade,

Somehow I had to add because I had less USDC.

additional money from the exchange.

After completing that, I returned to the web3 swap menu.

where I conducted a manual ACE coin search,

and without hesitation,

I switched! It was ACE, a fake coin!

My $11 was now showing $0 for a 21K ACE buy!

I went back to customer service because I was perplexed.

He essentially informed me that nothing could be done.

and that I needed to notify the police about it.

I couldn't understand why it would show $0.

They provided me a lengthy list of explanations. More perplexed :/

However, it didn't make sense from a technological standpoint.

Therefore, I proceeded to exchange those $0 worth of ACE out of curiosity.

And you know what? My initial amount was displayed for

exchanging the coins value zero dollars. Odd, huh? I believed so.

When I brought this up to customer service

The man was taken aback and was unaware of this.

I would have been defrauded if I hadn't bothered to unturn that rock.

All I've heard is that Web3 is a scam forest.

until today, when I had firsthand experience

Talk about this with someone who has recently gone through this.

There may still be a chance for recovery!

I appreciate you listening.

I simply felt it was my responsibility to communicate and raise awareness of this.
